What is Gau Seva?
Gau Seva literally means “service to the cow.” In Vedic tradition, the cow is revered as Gau Mata — the mother who nourishes all of creation. Gau Seva encompasses the ethical treatment, care, and protection of cows, as well as the preservation of indigenous Desi breeds and the sustainable use of the cow’s gifts for human wellbeing.
The Gau Mata gives us five sacred gifts — Panchgavya: milk, curd, ghee, gomutra (urine), and gomay (dung). Together, these five form the basis of Ayurvedic medicine, organic agriculture, and countless artisan crafts. Nothing is wasted. Everything serves.

Dugdha (Milk)
